Rafting Naranjo River Tour (Class II, III & IV)

Overview

The Naranjo River is the midpoint of adrenaline for a rafting tour in Manuel Antonio. Naranjo River Rafting Tour is a half-day activity and the tour is available during the morning and afternoon every day.

The Naranjo River is considered as the most important biological corridor for the Manuel Antonio Park. Monkeys, deer, coaties and among many other animals use the Naranjo River forest to move farher out to ferested areas near Manuel Antonio Park. The trees along the Naranjo River are large and old. Considered as a primary and secondary forest. During the rafting tour you will be able to observe some wonderful species such as toucans, eagles and scarlet macaws flying over the river.

River Naranjo is located approximately 25 minutes from Manuel Antonio Park. The tour is classified as class II, III & IV rafting. No previous experience is required for this tour.

The tour begins with pickup from your hotel or house near Manuel Antonio Park or Quepos. During the driveway to the river you can ask your tour guide history questions or also ask about the adventure that you are about to undertake. During the river rafting tour, your guide will prepare some refreshing fruit snacks.

And after enjoying the rafting experience, we will take you back to the hotel, or you could go on another tour during the afternoon. So, you can take advantage of your full day in Manuel Antonio Park or the many different activities that we have available near the park.

  • 7:00 AM (morning tour) / 11:30 AM (afternoon tour)
  • Sun block, towell, waterproof camera and a change of clothes is optional
