Corcovado Park One Day Tour

As we already know, our country is a great treasure of biodiversity. Listed as one of the countries with the largest flora and fauna on planet earth. In Costa Rica we have several national parks where you can enjoy the impressive nature. However, the best national park in Costa Rica is Corcovado National Park. Considered a small arm of the Amazon, Corcovado is the richest National Park in biodiversity of Central America. The visit to this park is a really impressive experience.

Corcovado National Park is located 3 hours from Manuel Antonio National Park. The transportation to Corcovado is 1 hour and a half in a private air-conditioned van, and 1 hour and a half by boat on the blue waters of the Pacific Ocean.

The tour starts as soon as our driver picks you up in the Manuel Antonio or Quepos area. Then will drive to the south of Costa Rica and we will make a stop it Sierpe, where we will board a boat which will take us to the fabulous Corcovado National Park. During the boat trip you will be able to observe the impressive mangrove forests, as well will also be able to see the beautiful sea turtles, dolphins and whales from the boat along the ocean.

Corcovado National Park has two stations to visit (San Pedrillo and Sirena). Both stations are excellent to enjoy nature. Although if you want to observe as many species as possible, then we highly recommend Sirena Station. And if you are looking forward to enjoy the primary forest then San Pedrillo is your option.

The Corcovado National Park tour is a complete adventure. You will walk through impressive trails in the virgin forest for discovering a huge variety of animals. The species that you may observe in Corcovado are Tapir, Mountain Lion, Spider Monkey, White-faced Monkey, Howler Monkey, Squirrel Monkey, Toucans, Scarlet Macaw, Ant Eaters, among others ... you can also see many different bird species, insects, amphibians and reptiles.

As matter of fact, Corcovado National Park has approximately the 3% of all the biodiversity on Planet Earth. Therefore, this experience will not disappoint.

The visitation to Corcovado National Park is regulated for a small number of tourists daily. Therefore, the spaces tend to fill quickly, especially during the holidays.

During the tour you can only visit one of the two stations. So you must confirm which station you want to visit.

The minimum for this tour is four people. Please ask if there are only 2 people.
